The acquisition of Posti Messaging AB and Posti Messaging AS (jointly “Posti Messaging Scandinavia”) has been completed as planned and Posti Messaging Scandinavia has become a part of Ropo Capital Group.
On October 28, 2020, Ropo Capital announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire Posti Group’s information logistics business in Sweden and Norway. The transaction was subject to the approval of the Swedish competition authority. The approval has now been received and the transaction has been successfully closed.
With the acquisition, the number of invoices and other documents managed by Ropo Capital exceeds 170 million and Ropo Capital Group’s total revenue will increase to approximately EUR 94 million. In addition, Ropo Capital Group will have around 370 employees, with six offices in Finland, Sweden and Norway.
“I wish all our new Posti Messaging colleagues a warm welcome to our team and our joint journey to becoming the leading invoice lifecycle service provider in the Nordics,” says Rickard Westlund, CEO of Ropo Capital. “This transaction is an important step on our path towards achieving that goal. By combining Posti Messaging’s extensive experience in efficient information logistics with our leading technology and considerable expertise in credit management, we are renewing two traditional industries to generate more value for our new and existing clients in Sweden and Norway.”
Through the acquisition, Ropo Capital will strengthen its Scandinavian footprint significantly by expanding into Norway and further strengthen its offering in Sweden.
